Gonorrhea or Shukrameha in ayurveda

Gonorrhea, also known as “Shukrameha” in Ayurveda, is a sexually transmitted infection caused by the bacteria Neisseria gonorrhoeae. Ayurveda is a traditional system of medicine that originated in India and has been practiced for thousands of years.

  2. Guggulu: Guggulu is a resin extract of the Commiphora mukul tree. It has antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties that can help in treating gonorrhea. Guggulu can be taken in capsule form or as a powder.
  3. Neem: Neem has antibacterial properties that can help in killing the bacteria responsible for gonorrhea. Neem can be taken in the form of capsules or as a decoction.
  4. Chandan: Chandan, also known as sandalwood, has antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory properties that can help in managing the symptoms of gonorrhea. Chandan can be applied topically in the form of a paste.
